3" to 35's?

Could I put 35's on with no rubbing if I had a 3 inch lift kit?(leaf spring and spacer)

what is the 3" kit? AS makes a 2 and 2.5 spacer for the front, and the AAL is 1.5 in the rear, though you could go custom and get almost any bend but it'll cost you. I've seen many people here put 35s with the AS spacers, but some have had slight rubbing. 33s will clear for sure. It also depends on the wheel and backspacing. If they are stock, you should be ok, but you may want to search the forums. This topic has hundreds of threads, it's literally been beaten to death

the balljoint/tierod/cv angles look bad enough with the 2.5 kit id hate to see a 3 inch. if your going to put in a spacer dont go any more then 2inches IMO.

Adam, the cv angles can look sorta bad, but after reading dozens of threads from owners with AS, it's almost a non issue. I've seen lots of threads where the average driver installs the AS 2.5, gets and alignment, and drives tens of thousands of miles with no issues at all. The problems occur more commonly with the avid offroader who uses 4WD often. When in normal 2WD as you know, the cv joints are not engaged, and there for not wearing out early.

Adam, if you are planning on mostly highway/city driving, and don't use your 4WD all the time, you should be fine. As far as the product you showed us, it looks good, but personally I would stick with AS for the main reason being it is used by literally hundreds, if not thousands of owners on this site alone. I don't know of many (if any) using fatbobs. Fatbobs uses a rear AAL which is fine and dandy, but be prepared for a much stiffer ride. When you add that extra spring, you are adding more rigidity which, while it's good, can be much less comfortable. Also, as far as cost is concerned, fatbobs is listed at $200 for the front and rear kit to lift it 3 inches. You can go Auto Spring front 2 or 2.5" spacer for $79, and the rear 3" block for about $110, so you're actually saving a couple bucks and saving your factory ride quality. Just some food for thought for you.
