Installed the Leveling kit.

I have an 07 Screw 2wd. I'm looking to put on a leveling kit to make it look better. Eventually I will put a little bit bigger tires on when the stockers wear out, but that is not the main concern. I will be pulling a 24' boat in the summers which will probably be the biggest thing I will ever tow.

So the questions are what will be the difference between the 2" and the 2.5" leveling kits from AS. Which will be more level? better? etc...

In your opinion, when towing the boat how much would my rear end sag? If it is only a little then I'm not concerned with it, but if it is more than I am comfortable with I will put on the AAL from AS. My concern with that is the ride quality of my truck. Some people say it hasn't changed their ride quality, but I have an AAL in previous trucks and it definitely stiffened the ride.

Any advice is much appreciated. If you need more specs of my truck, please ask and I will respond as fast as I can. I will post pics when I get a chance.

I decided to go with the 2.5" kit from Hell Bent Steel. Satisfied with results. I just need some bigger tires. PICS AT THE BOTTOM OF PAGE. Sorry for the lack of after pictures. I will update tomorrow.

id go with the 2" if you plan to tow. on my 07 2wd i measured it to be exactly 2.5" lower in the front then the rear but i will never tow so im going with the 2.5" if its .5" lower in the front i dont think youll notice it much when not towing and the truck will still look level when the boat is hooked up. just my $0.02

go with the 2.5" it makes the truck just about perfectly level...I haul a 21" boat in the summer also and the "sag" is not uncormfatble at all..Also dont worry about ride quality, its the same as factory IMO

I definitely wouldn't get the 2.5". I have the 2" on my '06 2wd and the front sits higher than I would like it to now. With just a small load in the bed, the rear is sagging.

I installed the AS 2" leveling kit on my 07 Screw and had to install a 1.5" AAL to bring the rear up level with the front. I had asked the question to a couple of members here why others stated that the 2.5" kit leveled their truck and the 2" on mine made the front sit higher in the front, the answers I received back was that the 07 have a different spring rate??? Bottom line in my opinion go with the 2". If you install the 2" give feedback on if it leveled or made the front a little higher on your 07.

Thanks for the input. Sounds like I will be going with the 2". I will let you all know how things turn out. Worst comes to worse there may be a 2" leveling kit in the classifieds.

Any more opinions are more than welcomed.

Much better. Shouldn't have let the G/F take the after pics. I'll take better ones tomorrow. Tell me what you think.
I swear I think the leveling kit made my ride a little smoother. Any idea why that would happen? Maybe its just in my head.
My biggest surprise was how much it helped my headlights. Almost a night and day difference. I'm not dying for HIDs anymore.
