Question Drop Down Bracket

Hey everyone- I have been doin my research for a couple weeks now and i want to lift my 98 f150 4x4. i like the AS 2.5/AAL lift but want a little more clearance, but on the other hand i dont like the look of drop down brackets and i wont do a body lift. i have also thought of converting from IFS to a solid axle but dont want to cut my cross member and do all the other crap. is there any way i can get about four inches without doin a drop down bracket? or will i be stuck with choosing either or? as you can see i am prety lost and any advice would help...thanks alot

Cheers

crank up your t-bars is the only way, it is alot harder on ball joints and will ride rougher but you can get 3" out of it look in my gallery thats all my truck has is the torsion bars turned up and i fit 35's fine i think i could easily fit 36's and possibly 37's

I don't think you're going to fit 36s or 37s.

Thanks to everyone who replied. my brother has a 97 f150 with the torsion bars cranked up. also my buddy cranked up his torsion bars on his ranger, took it out to the desert and rolled it. he blames it on the torsion bars and what he did to them, or he could have just been doing something stupid knowing him. is there any danger of rolling with the t bars cranked or any other dangers?

Me too, but I know it won't happen. I have a lot of stupid friends to say the least.
