Cheaper gap guards

If I started to make gap guards and sell them for like 1/3 the price of PA's for the 98-03 bodys do you think people would be interested in them? I have a deal on the raw materials and think that I could just copy the basic shape. Well I guess I will look out for input.

lol they aren't hard to make.... heck we sell normally 5 body lifts a day and no one gets the gap guards because of the price... get you some sheets of thin polyurethane and you should be good to go!

It would probably look pretty good. I'd just worry about any type of metal being used as a gap guard. You don't want to punch a big gash into those expensive 35's... Which is quite possible if you off road. Just something to keep in mind.

I might make a few as a test run I bought all the stuff from a buddy to make my own, and then got some as an early b-day gift. So I was thinking about returning the stuff and figured it would not be hard to make more useing my gap guards as a templet, then make more and share them here for a lower price. I dont know what all they will fit, though I am assuming they would be for any f150 97-2003 and the 04 heratige, but im not sure. I will make a few sets just to see who this goes and as soon as I am finished I will post some pics and see if anyone is still interested.

P.S. I am talking about a full set, front and rear not just the rear gap guards.
