Factory Shock Replacement

I have an 06 4x4 Screw with a 4 inch superlift. Over the last year my front tires have been wearing down on the inside significantly more than the rest of the tire. The tires have been re-alligned several times but the problem persists. What could be causing this problem? I noticed that even though my truck has a lift, the factory shocks are still used in the front with a spacer and i was wondering if this could be the problem for the tire wear. Would a different shock, maybe a longer one or one that adjusts in length like the Bilstein 5100s, fix the problem and give it better ride quality? I would also like to have the front raised an inch or two because it is not quite level. What setup would fix the tire wear problem and level out the front?

If the tires are wearing more on the inside, the front end is not aligned correctly.

Did you get an alignment after the tire wear started,if so,did you rotate them after alignment,if not, thats the problem, when a tire starts to wear in a specific area,it will continue to wear on that pattern alot faster if you dont rotate them,if you did rotate them, then Wandell is right,go to another shop and get the alignment checked again.

Yes i had them alligned and rotated and they still wore on the inside. Could something be wrong with the front end causing it to not allign properly?

The only thing that could be wrong is parts, which the tech should have found anything bad within a couple minutes.Maybe the tech himself is bad,I would go to a differant place and get them to take a look at it.If the alignment is out ask them how far its out,and if there are any bad parts, they should tell you BEFORE they even attempt to align the truck.
