Wanna lift it 6", what the best and cheapest?

I'm a full time student on a very limited buget. I love 4 wheeling and my truck does aight but I really need the lift! I would love to know who makes the best 6" lifts, but is still pretty cheap?

Some searching would tell you a lot.

Everyone's opinion is going to differ. I don't know much about your year truck so I don't know that I'd be much help.

go look at 4wheelparts find a price you like then look up that lift to find the best price... more than likely 4wheel parts wont be the cheapest place but it will give you an idea of what you want! in my opion id say Skyjacker or RCD f your gonna stay on road mostly then go with procomp. another good option would be donahoe racing

The DR kit is no longer being made I know that because I own the last complete kit availible DR had to find this kit for me, took a while just to locate one i was lucky to get it, don't put a cheap lift on your truck you wont be happy get a RCD they come with Bilstiens you wont be sorry and I hear they have come down in price, if you want a few inches cheaper just put in a Body Lift

Wink

If u wanna go somewhat cheap with basically the same ride quality u can put a 4" spindle kit on ur truck for about 6 or 700 bucks then crank ur torsions for about another 1-2" and then put a block in the rear!! I did that with my 01 ranger and got a good lift outta that!!

Hey, check the suspension specials at national tire and wheel.

I just bought the 6 inch kit for my 96 f150 for 499.99. It includes shocks and everything. Should be here in about a week, I can let yas know what its like quality wise. I am hoping for the best. I have heard they do have some nice parts in em, they just buy surplus.

I would search for a used one.I just sold my 6in fabtech with 6in BDS springs for $900 on here and I paid a little over $2000 for everything 2years ago.You should be able to pick one up for around $700 used. Not to be mean but I wouldn't spend $1400 on a new lift for a 12 year old truck when you could pick one up used for half that.

I think I spent around $450 for springs and there bushings. You have to use theres.I never really measured but I would say it gave it a good 6in lift.
