3" body lift for 99 expo?

Alright guys well I want to raise my Expedition alittle without spending alot of money. So I was thinking a 3" body lift would be the best bet..

What do you guys think?
Also what tires would you recommend that are cheap, but still look pretty sick under the lift?!?

Thanks Alot!

Performance Accessories 3" Body Lift. I think the part # for your Expo is 873 but I'm not sure. Best body lift kit on the market, it'll run ya about $200... Make sure to get the Gap Guards also, or just make some.

You could probably run 35s on it I'd imagine, that would look good. Check out my gallery to get an idea of what it would look like. I don't have an Expedition, but a Screw...

As far as tires go, that varies. I'm runnin' Maxis Buckshot MTs and love them. great tire for the price.

There was a member on here a while back with a 3" body lift on his expedition and it looked pretty good. Maybe he will chime in. As for tires if you are on a strict budget the Nitto terra grapplers are good tires for the money. I got mine from discount tire for $135 a tire in 285/75/16.

Could I maybe just put some bigger looking tires on with no lift?

with the expy you might have to trim a little to fit the 35's with just a BL but i might be wrong! and id pick those toyos up asap. if thats what you like, i prefer 16" wheels

for 200 though....theyde buy you some time to save up for new ones. Even if theyre only 20% theyll go another 10k, tough tires. Downside is theyre 20's, if your on a budget youll have to find rims too.

Definitely just wait and save up till you can afford new ones....not worth wasting $200 bucks.....

My uncle has 31's on his expo, all he did was tighten the torsion bars i think it look great ive never seen an expo on 35's but im sure it would look great either way. but try to stay away from that 20" wheel go with 18's! it will look more aggressive.
