Exclamation Want to lift - What are my options?

I have an '06 SuperCrew 4x2 with 2"AS front lift, 305/50/20 (32") and I'd like to lift it and have heard I can do a 3" lift. I've seen the 6" lift but I'd like to keep my tire/wheel setup.

How much approximately and what do I need for 3" lift?

How much for 6" and can I run my existing tire/wheel setup?

Just to clarify for you. The 3" is a body lift, the 6" is a suspension lift. Either way you will probably want to get bigger tires.

Fabtech makes their coilovers adjustable from 0-3" I believe. I think Skyjacker also makes a 3" lift.

Body lifts are about 200-300$ but cost upwards of 750$ to install.

Most 6" lifts are in the 1500$ range.

I think the Skyjacker 3" is around 500-600$.

Same reason most 4x4 guys do - it looks good. Most of us don't get off the beaten path, but some do... Like me.

I know where my truck can go and it works just fine for me. Do I go through thick sloppy mud, or go rock climbing? No....

It's nice to be able to get in and out of the deer lease, and other places without having to worry about clearance. Bigger tires are always a plus as well.

Another reason people like myself lift 4x2's is because they make better pre-runners and offroad race trucks than the 4x4
