Small Lift On My Truck?

Ok, please don't flame me for this as I'm sure its been asked before. I tried search, but it won't bring me anything.... I even tried searching just "brakes" and "steering" as I'm sure there are millions of those threads but all it says nothing matches..

But anyway. I'm looking to run 33" tires on my 98 F150. How much lift do I need to accomplish this? Its a 4x4 supercab.

If you're keeping your stock wheels, you won't need any lift to run 33" tires on your 4x4. For a short time, I was running 285/70/17 (33" tires) on my stock height 4x2. I had some minor rubbing but nothing major. You can also crank your torsion bars just a bit if you're concerned.

I would just crank up your torsion bars to get the truck nice and level

I had a '97 F-150 extended cab 4x4. I was running 285/75/16 (33's) Goodyear MTR's. I didn't touch the torsion bars and when I first got them they would only slightly rub the lower plastic valence on the bumper at full lock in only one direction (i forget which way the wheel had to be turned). I trimmed the valence a little with a dremel (and I mean very little and you couldn't tell when it was done) and they never rubbed again. I had them on Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels.

No, you won't need longer shocks.
