coilovers?!?!
So I just made up my mind I have a skyjacker 2" leveling kit it rides like crap so I'm gonna take that out and throw in a set of bolt on coilovers while I save up for the camburg long travel kit!!! My question is what does everyone think the best bang for ur buck is? So far I've got the camburg csr for $950, kings for $1350 anyone got anymore options?? Btw my truck is a 2007 reg cab stx 2wd!!!
Fabtech makes a 3 inch kit for a 2wd and it comes with the 2.5 dirt logics shocks and a rear block with rear shocks aswell for aroung $1100.
I would recommend this kit, i was going to get it but i choose a full lift

Ok cool thanks ill take that one into consideration too!!! I was gonna go with a full procomp or skyjacker 6" kit but I spend alota time in the desert so I'm gonna go either camburg or total chaos long travel by the end of the the year so I figured I'd just go with coilovers for now and get the smooth ride till I got the money for the long travel!!! So ya if u got nemore input or ideas it will be greatly appreciated!!
If you are saving up money for that lift, you should just replace your stock shocks with some Bilsteins or Ranco. Cost you about $400 if you have someone install them. There is no sense in getting coil-overs or a new lift if you are just going to rip it off within a year.

Ya I agree... anyone got any ideas how to smoothen out the ride cuz its pretty stiff especially over speed bumps, it feels like my ranger did when I cranked the torsions all the way!!! So is there any extended struts or anything like that, that just bolts right in? Oh and by the way its the camburg long travel kit I'm goin with so ya it comes with the coilovers I was gonna buy anyways so I agree stupid idea to waste money on the coilovers that are gonna come with the kit!!

(Tinknocker41) ya I kinda confused myself on my research on the coilovers too! My bad! But kit in the pic above is the 7.0 performance kit, not the long travel! But I kinda like that kit too!!
I am thinking seriously about putting the camburg coilovers and UCA on my truck as well. I am tired of the rough ride from the AS, and the balljoints are about ready to be replaced, although I was thinking about lifting the truck with a complete suspension, I have decided that I dont want to anymore. What do you guys think? What rear shocks should I go with also?
