To install a 3" block or to not?

I am trying to decide if I want to install a 3" block or not. I don't tow that often, but I just can't decide if I want the rear a little higher or not. Opinions please

All the pics are in my gallery

I did it to mine and I sit about 3/4 of an inch higher in the rear. Like yourself, I don't tow often either but I like the rear just a bit higher (1/2" to an 1") then the front. Do it

Where did you get your 3" block by the way? Did it come with U bolts and hardware? Thanks!

I got it from Autospring off ebay for about 120 shipped. It comes with all new hardware no need to buy anything else.

Would that work on a 2001 2WD? If so, I'd be interested. Mac

Nice truck! I'm curious to what gear ratio you have and how it is with the 35's?

I have 3:55 and am thinking of going to 35's with the AS 2.5" but wondering how it will be with the ratio/tire combo.

I have a 3.73LS as per the FX4 package. Anyways it still has plenty of power to it. I believe it is like having a 3.55 someone said??? Your truck may be a little sluggish, but if you install an intake and power programmer, then you should gain some of that power back
