easy question ?
How do I cank up the torsion bars ? Will I need to have a new allignment when it's done ? Pics of where to adjust them if possible. Thanks......I have never messed with IFS before and don't want to mess things up
Just follow each torsion bar from the lower a-arm back toward the cab. There is an adjustment cam and bolt on the end. Jack the front of the truck off the ground and turn each adjustment bolt an equal number of turns untill you get your truck's front at the height you desire. Then get an alignment when you are through. Here's a pic.

I must be REALLY blind !!! I crawled all up under it and I don't see any torsion bars???? The 04 SCREW does have them....right ? Any IFS does I thought, I saw the sway bar and nothing comming off the lower A arms ?? I guess I took too many shots of stupid last night
No, the 04-08 F-150's have coilover shocks, not torsion bars. The 97-03 F-150 4x4's had torsion bars and the 4x2's had coilsprings.

Thank you for clearing that one up for me... I guess the only way to bring the front up then is to get spacers or a levelling kit... I will wait, I am trying to sell my Samurai for the $ needed to get my 8" RIZE.... Anybody need a good little truck for their hunting camp ?
