Unhappy Add-a-leaf

I have a 1997 150 with a 4.6 and tow a camper approx. 6000 lbs. loaded. I purchased the truck around March 07 and it has a leveling kit. Without the camper on it sits level but when attatched the rear really drops. Would an add-a-leaf correct this?? If so what one??? I have look into them from a full leaf to the half leafs. What would be best???? The rear drops approx. 3 in. and my headlights light up yhe sky at night....... I 'm not to sure how to put a picture on here or I would... Thanks.....

Yes the add-a-leaf will help ALOT. Try going to jackit.com and look for there leafs. There pretty cheap and will get the job done. I have a procomp add-a-leaf on my truck and helps alot.

I agree.. Makes a big enough difference to warrant the cost.

I think the best way to approach the rear end while towing would be some air bags. That way the ride would be nice and level without making the truck look bad on a daily basis
Also you really should be running a weight distributing hitch if you aren't already!

I agree. A little more expensive, but that would be the best setup.
