you get what you pay for. i have seen bent procomp spindles and spacers. i would never buy a procomp anything.

some don't like them, some do. but i have the stage 1, and i have no complaints. the ride is suprisingly really good!

 

Well, I don't think the procomp is made to go jumping sand dunes. But then I doubt the OEM parts are made for that either.

I have the stage 1 kit and it has been great for moderate off-road and street. But I do intend to upgrade to replacement coilovers in the near future.

 

Go with another brand. No real reason to buy Pro Comp over someone else.

I have the Pro Comp with coilovers and love it. It rides great. It is dependable as long as you dont push your truck past what it what it was designed to handle.

 

Ive had the procomp kit for a year with no problems I bought replacement coils so I could take out the spacer. Although I have been happy with the kit I decided the next lift kit I buy will not be procomp.

 

yes sir, pro comp is not the greatest, but i guarantee you every IFS lift does the same exact damn thing as all of them else. ive been rollin prettttty hard on cranked coilovers and and a 6" pro comp. I have a good 2"s on a 8" rize and i have 36x135.0n on a 2wd right now. just get adj. coilovers and crank em, then upgrade your arms to some TC's or "camburgs:

 

I'm going to be getting the procomp kit - reason?? I can save close to $600 compared to buying a fabtech kit. Money is a big role-playing factor. When you truck is just a pavement pounder anyways....there is nothing wrong with pro comp. Can always upgrade to coilovers later on.

 

One of the best lifts no doubt, but not the best to the bank account.


Procomp isn't top of the line stuff, but its a good affordable lift in my opinion. I dont know first hand, I've driven a truck with a procomp lift before, but never owned one, but from reading around here it seems like good stuff and a decent priced kit. Like anything you get what you pay for though.
