What is a AAL?

I ordered 8 Inch Rize and see alot of guys with AAL in the rear. Does my Rize kit come with this AAL or do I have to buy it?

A AAL stands for Add a Leaf. It's a rear leaf spring kit.

its an additional leaf spring that puts upward pressure on the leaf pack and lifts them up with upward pressure. makes for a stiffer ride.
