Leveling Kit

How hard is to install a leveling kit? I have air tools and everything i would think I would need. Just wondering if anyone ran into any unexpected problems or difficulties i may encounter. What name brand would you also recommend?

THe Autospring and other one piece designs are easier to install. They basically just bolt on top of the coilover shock assembly.

It's as easy as using the search feature.

Top Gun Customz makes a nice Leveling Kit for only 86 bucks. Me and a buddy put it on my truck and it only took about 45 minutes to do one side. We had some trouble when we found out we needed a spring compressor. It bolts right on top of the strut. Looks great, and it rides stock.

If it bolts to the top of the strut why do you need a spring compressor? When I did my AS spacer I didn't need a compressor and it bolted atop the strut.

The extra 2.5 inches was just big enough that we could not get the bottom strut bolt back in. It was just easier to use a compressor.

my 2.5 AS kit made the bottom of the strut hole not align with the control arm to, all you have to do is take a screw driver and pry it the way you need it to go. Easy as pie!

Oh, I see. My 2" was pretty easy to install, no issues at all.

Autospring kits are very easy to install. The only tool that I would suggest to have on hand would be a pitman arm puller to disconnect your upper ball joint if it doesn't want to come off with the sledge hammer. Makes life super easy!
