5100 Bilstein Ride

My front suspension is stock as of now.
I seem to feel alot of the road through the steering wheel. Dealer said everything is tight.
I'm installing the AS 2.5 and possibly 5100's.
My question is, do the Bilsteins give you a softer
ride than stock?

Thanks in advance..

I would imagine like most aftermarket shocks, they will feel more stiff and firm.

On a side note. Where is the cheapest place people have found for Bilsteins??

Bilsteins

If you put the 5100's on you truck that is the only leveling kit you need. You cannot use the with spacers unless you use them in the stock position. The Bilsteins are a little firmer than stock and give a very controlled ride. Check out my pic's for what the end product looks like. I only have the Bilsteins installed in the 2" position, no other lift at all.

I am in the same exact decision boat as you, down to the steering problem!!

Bone, provided that you are using the stage 1 kit and nothing else, you can probably get away with it. Your control arms should sit fairly level with the pro comp kit so adding the bilsteins in the 2 in. position would be about like adding them to a stock truck. Just be sure to check clearances and ball joint angles when your done.

Bilsteins

Scott, I ordered my 5100's from Top Gun Customs, they were the cheapest I found. $389 delivered to my front door!

Another place to check is the Shockwarehouse,
