Chromoly axles are big money man. If you are actually going to use this rig than like I said go big or go home! True a D44 is stronger than your IFS but all the other crap you are going to go through....Do you even have a clue???? Or is this all your buddy and you are funding the project???If he was really your friend he would do it right the first time but hey, it's your rig and it will be very unique no matter what axle you put under there. Good luck.

well he is the one that has done it before and I haven't so I'm letting him do what he thinks is best. As far as do it right or go home. what kind of suspention u got?????? Yes I got to pay for the all the parts. Hell I wish he was. A Danna 60 is alot more expensive than a Danna 44. If there is a way that I could use my same wheels, and it was not so much more expensive I would go with a Danna 60. So how can I get a Danna 60 for cheap and make it work with my wheels???????

I am sure someone sells adapters. I found some wheel spacer/adapters for my jeep that change the lug from 5*4.5 to 5*5.5 and they are 1.5" spacers. As for finding dana 60's cheap...Well you wont but with the dana 60 you will not have to worry about breaking anything if you actually use it.

When is the swap going to started, i agree with you that a D60 would be much stronger but a D44 will still be stronger than IFS and you can toughen it up enough to work, can't wait to see how this goes!

you could easily clear 40s on a 12" lift. 19" lift you should fit some 44s or 46s.

yea i know. it was supposed to be just 15in all together with the body lift. but they built the front too big (not complaining) so they raised the back to match. and i already had my wheels and tires

you guys do realize that the 44 isnt much stronger than his current 8.8, yes its stronger and hes gaining some more strength being SFA over IFS but still, and why upgrade to a D60 rear when your current 9.75 is already just as strong, add some shafts to it and its stronger, JMHO though, take it for what its worth (which prolly aint much lol) anywho good luck on the swap, should be sweet whatever way you choose to go

kuntry If I swap What do u say 13"s or 15"s of lift? The tallest tries I would go with would be 40s.
