Angry lowering a 94 f150

i have a 94 f150 that i would like to lower. I had my eyes on the 4" shackles and hangers for the rear, and 1" drop springs for the front. up until just now, i thought that this would be possible without any problems, but i just got off the phone with a local customs shop, and after he tried to tell me that there was only a 3-5 drop for my truck( flip kit and i-beams), he told me that the springs wouldn't work for my truck because there is no way to align the front wtf?? is this guy full of it or is this true? he told me that for a flip kit, i-beams, shocks and labor that it'd be $1200 and thats when i was like okay buddy you're full of sh*t.

gahh i'm mad right now, and i really hope that this joker isn't right because if so i'm going to be really PISSED!!

if you are still looking for info, check out DJM, they have a lowering kit that should fit. You may want to check Ground Force as well, they have some neat stuff. I'm not sure of the '94 alignment issues, but I don't see a problem. The price he quoted for the install might be a bit high, but the mod is fairly complex requiring at least few hours of labour by someone who knows what they're doing.
Good luck.
