quick fitment question

iam selling my old wheels and tires and i had someone inquire about them. he has a 2" leveling kit on his 06 fx4 and he wants to clear my wheels and tires. the wheels and tires are 17x9 w/ 4.5"s of backspacing on 35x12.50 BFG M/T tires. will this fit? or will it rub wayyy to bad? thanks.

17's will not work on a '06. Needs to be at least 18's

My 35's rubbed on the lower wheelwell on my truck with 17x9 wheels with 5 inches of backspace. I had to use 8 inch wide wheels with 5 1/2 inches backspace to clear them. My truck is a 2 1/2" leveled 4x4.

wow wow, as far as i know 17's will fit just some wheels are tighter than others. the rotors havent changed sense 05 and my friend has 17's on his 06.

there isnt enough back spacing on those wheels he needs a body lift to clear those.

Yea i didnt think it was gunna work, i wanted to try and dupe him into buying them though so i can just get rid of them. im lettin them go for 350$ so its a good azz deal. can trimming be done to clear them or is there too much trimming involved?
