Help! 2005 F150 Fx4

Can someone tell me what is the biggest tire I can use if I get a leveling kit. I want 35's but will this rub? I have stock tires on 18' rims

they say general rule of thumb is, aftermarket rims 33's, stockers 35's, depending on tire also, mt, at and such

My 35" BFGoodrich Km2's don't rub or at least not enough to notice at all

Thanks, I was looking at the nittos. Do you think those would fit ok? And would a 2.5 or 3' leveling kit work better?

35's on stock rims is what alot of guys are using. You will have a problem when you start using aftermarket wheels due to the backspacing. the 35's are not recommended for the 7.5" wide wheel due to the tire width. About the only problems you might have is slight rubbing on full turns and abnormal wear in the center of the tire. I have had 33's on my factory wheels with a 2.5" leveling kit for 30,000 miles. 35's look nice, but I am working my way up now that I have a 4" lift. Once these 33's wear out, i'll get 35's.

If you are looking at the Nitto Mud Grapplers, you will more than likely have rubbing issues due to the large side lugs. Other 35/ 12.50's on a stock wheel should be ok. Just my 2 cent's.....
