Question Would this setup work?

Just wondering if this setup would work because i am not very experienced with backspacing and offsets. I want to get a 6" procomp suspension, and the 3" PA body lift. would that be enough to clear 38x15.50 R20's? Im not set on wheels yet but i am thinking moto metal.. What offset and backspacing should i look for? Thanks

I am not the expert on Back spacing, I'd wait til Wandell to chime in on that. He seems to know his stuff in that department. But just curious(sp?) why Pro-Comp? You can get FabTech for just a little bit more $$$ and wont have that huge Pro-Comp spacer (assuming your getting the stage 1) Fabtech has some nicer features and a better looking front cross-member. Of course this is all according to opinion and budget. I got my Fabtech delivered for $1400 or so and thats for a 4x4.
P.S. I'm not sure, but sound like the setup you want would work, with some trimming and proper BS. Good luck

Thats a good question i found the procomp for 1200 but if i could get the fabtech for only 2 or 3 hundred more i would definitely go that way. I think the offset is -12mm and the backspacing is 4.52" on the motometal 956's i just looked at. Sounds good to me but what the heck do i know.

Sounds like it would work... but like I said other guys will chime in tomorrow and lead you in the right direction for tires and wheels. As for suspension, I would highly suggest saving the extra couple hundred and buying the FabTech. Especially if you are 4x4 and even more so if you plan to do any off-roading.

I'm not sure if 9 inches of lift is enough to clear 38x15.50's on the new F-150's. I'm sure you could clear 37's, but 15.50 inches is a wide tire. You would need a 10 inch wide wheel and I'd want to keep the backspacing around 5 inches.

get the fabtech or pro comp kit with the adjustable coilovers and crank them up a couple inches. this will be enough to clear the 38x15.50's with 4.5"s of backspacing on the wheels. also, go with a 10" wide wheel with that wide of a tire.

Russ, whats their names so i can look their pictures up?

So, if i get the coilovers i know i can clear the 38x15.50's, but could i use a 20x10 wheel with 4.52" offset? Im guessing it wont matter if i crank the coilovers but i wasnt sure.
