its a straight axle with leaf springs front and back.... its pretty hard to mess that up, any company really. it really all depends on how big you want to go i would get an 8" and do 38" tires personally.

I'd go with az 6in donahoe racing lift and run some 37's.There suppose to be the best riding lift for that year truck. The 6in is suppose to ride better then the stock suspension does

Why would that be? I have seen blocks up front (honestly wondering... not trying to be a smart ***) i heard it isn't the best idea, nor does it look nice... but I'm fairly sure it can be done... ?

It can be done but in most states it's illegal to even use blocks up front. There's too much going on up front which causes a lot more twisting which can cause a block to break and spit out. Funny thing is a lot of heavy trucks actually have factory blocks up front and they break all the time.

Edit: As far as your initial question I'd say Donahoe or Superlift because they both use more, thinner leaves than companies such as pro comp.

Alright, just making sure I wasn't goin nuts. I had heard blocks would be bad upfront for obvious reasons. But I knew I had seen em somewhere! And I had no idea it was actually illegal in some states! Thanks a lot for the heads up and input KansasJoe. Always appreciated.

I think thats a great choice.Check out there site ,they have the components you can buy in addition to your 6in like spring hangers and stuff to get you up to 12in lift but then You have to look into getting crossover steering and all that so for now the 6in would be perfect.Could squeeze 37's on there if you wanted or 35's for more space in the wheelwell
