Leaf Spring Bolt

Does anyone know the specs on the bolt that connects the rear suspension to the bracket at the rear end of the leaf spring? Is this something I can grab at the hardware store or is it something I should go to Ford for? Thanks.

No you can not pick it up at any auto parts store, you have to go to the dealer and get it. It's an 18mm bolt.Thats if your talking about the bolts that are going towards the front of the truck.

Thumbs up Grade 10 bolts

You really need to get these from Ford. They are specific grades, size and length. Especially length for dynamic clearances. What year is your truck? The 2004+ (non Heritage) model front spring eye bolt removal is hindered by the fuel tank on the LH side. If you cut off the old one, when you place the new one in with nut on the inside without some sort of shield for the fuel tank, you could be asking for trouble if side impact occurs. Be safe my friend. buy or make a shield for that bolt tip. Or better yet. Drop the fuel tank and replace the bold in the correct orientation.
Have fun!
