AutoSpring Rear Blocks

Who is using the AutoSpring rear blocks? How are they? Are you happy with them? How much did they raise the rear end?

I'm thinking of going with the 2 inch spacer and the replacement block in the back of my 2005 4x4 super crew. Does anybody have this set-up? Pictures? Are you happy with it?

Thanks!

That might put you with a good amount of rake. Every truck is different. I leveled mine out with a 2.5" Autospring and the back of my truck is still 1/2" to 1" taller than the front. SO it all depends. I would think just a 2 inch spacer and a 3 inch block in the back would be like raising the back up 1 inch over the front from where it is right now. But you won't really know until the autospring is installed how much rake you will have with the 2" spacer. I think it is pretty safe to say that the 2" spacer will not put your front end higher than the rear, but it is all preference. If you like the rear end to be a lot higher than the front you can always just order the block after you see the truck with the autospring

I was taller in the front by about a 1/4 inch after I put in my leveling kit, so I ordered autospring's 3 inch rear blocks and now I sit 3/4 of an inch higher in the rear. Pics in gallery and I love the set-up...for now

hmm... I guess I'll just go with the 2" spacer and some 305/70/17 for now. I can always add the rear block later. But if I get it all done at once my fiance will think it was just the spacer that gave it the lift, which she is ok with.

Anybody have pics with the 2" spacer and 3" rear block?

And the 3" block replaces the factory 1.5" block, so it's only like 1.5" extra, not 3".

Your stock rear block is 2 inches not 1.5. I know thats what AS says it is but go measure it and you'll see. If you look at my gallery the first set pics of my truck with the muds on were when I still had the 2 inch leveling kit in the front, once you see it offroad it's the 2 1/2 inch kit. Not much difference between the two

How come some people say that with the 2.5", the front sits higher that the rear and some say that the back is still higher. Does it really depend on your truck that much. Im just looking to sit as level as i can and still clear 305's on stock 18's with no rubbing or trimming

I think it all depends on the truck, the results don't vary a whole lot between them though, maybe a 1/4" or so from what I've read from everyone's results. I put the 2.5" spacer on the front and left the rear stock and it sits pretty much exactly level, less than a 1/16" difference. I'm going to leave it like that for now, but I'll probably put the 3" block in the rear some day just so it doesn't sag too much lower if it's loaded down.

Anybody have this set-up, or better yet, pictures?
I want to make sure that if I go this route I won't end up with more of a rake than I have now. I know it won't sit completely level, but will it be less than the factory rake? I like a little bit of rake to keep it level when it's loaded or when I'm towing.

Ok once again look at my gallery (click the camera icon to the right) I have the exact set-up you're looking into doing. You won't end up with more of a rake then you have now. Stock is about 2-2.5 inch rake depending on the truck. With this set-up you'll be anywhere between 3/4-1 1/4 of an inch rake.

On the plus side, you could always take the 3" block out and swap the 2" block back in if you don't like it. Then just sell the 3" block to someone who needs it. Or what you COULD do would be to swap the 3" block in for the summer when you tow a lot, then switch to the 2" for the winter when you don't tow It looks like a really really easy swap

I live in Florida, it's practically summer all year here.
I'm just trying to figure out if I go 2" AS and 3" block if I'll have more rake than factory, and I'm thinking I won't, so that will probably be the route I go.

I have the 2.5 A.S front with a custom 4" block that they made me, I went with their 3" block at first, but I was not to happy, I love the 4" block, sorry for big pic. also you have a 2" block from factory or my 2007 did, so really I lifted the rear about 2" and front about 3.25 so the rake is a little less aggressive than factory and I love it
