How to clear 37's
I was just wondering what the best way to clear 37's on my 06 is. I like the rize lift, but didnt know if there was a cheaper/better option.

better will not = cheaper. There are cheaper ways to do it. i dont reccomend Pro-comp, but they are the cheapest lift (stage one) then on top of that you could throw a 3" body lift. That would give you enough clearance. I would recommend at least get the FabTech 6" lift and then the body lift (procomp = pro crap.. IMO!) Pro comp is great for a pavement pounder, but not ideal for someone who will be doing any off-roading.

Nothing wrong with Pro Comp or Fabtech. Sure they both have their little quirks and do expect to need new brake lines. I think where Fabtech leads is out with it's of the box finish. That was the only complaint I had with my Pro Comp. The real fact is although you can put a indestructible lift on these trucks, the IFS is still the Achilles heel. I'd bet you'd break something OEM well before you break anything on these lifts.
Cheapest would probably getting a CST 8" lift unless you are installing these lifts on your own. The charge for installing a 6" plus a 3" BL is going to be more that just getting a 8" installed. Here's a link to the CST website: http://www.cstsuspension.com/product...9/productID/74 |

Thanks everyone for the help.. I would love to get the rize lift but i live in Memphis, TN and not sure who would put the lift on for me and God knows i dont want to attempt it. I know it would be cheaper to run a 6" procomp and a 3"PA but will i need gears replaced?
