Question Painting lift kit components

I have a used 4" lift that is supposed to be delivered today. I planned on re-painting all of the components black to make them look new and clean again, but got to thinking about painting them a different color.

What are y'alls thoughts?
I was thinking red. My shock boots are red and the sticker on the back of my truck is also red.

I don't want it to end up looking tacky after I put it on.

These are the components that would be painted.

Personally, I wouldn't go with a "loud" or bright color. A dark gray would look good. How about a textured finish like bedliner or a hammertone paint? Powdercoating or bedliner would be the most durable, followed by an automotive grade paint.

if your truck is black, paint it black. I've always liked the look of PTM lift components

Powder coating would be the way to go, I agree, but I don't have the time to wait on having it done nor do I want to pay to get it done.

I'm liking the bedliner idea. I might try the Duplicolor Spray on Bed Liner stuff.

While I was working today I thought about how it would look with red. I'm probably not gonna do it. It would either look really good or absolutely horrible!! If I could see it on someone elses truck I might change my mind.

I do like the idea of painting it grey. It wouldn't pop out as much to the eye, but still be noticeable.

Keep the ideas coming.

I'm tried to decide between gray and black right now.

I'm putting new torsion bars in as well. If I end up painting the components gray, should I paint the torsion bars gray as well?

Paint it gray, black, yellow, pink, or green. Because if you don't powder coat them you will be repainting within a year or two....
