CST Lift?
CST Lift?
I have been reading and thinking about which potential lift i want to do in the next 6 months or so and i was thinking about going with the CST 8". If i run the 8" with some 22" x 9.5 Rockstars and 37 x 13.5 x 22 Toyo MT would i have any major rubbing issues? Is there anyone on here running a similar setup? The lift comes with the fox coilovers and resevoirs in the rear and is about $4300, is it really worth the money or would it be just as good to go with the procomp stage 1 with the 2.5" leveling kit? Sorry for so many quiestions, thanks.
I would ditch the FOX and go with Sway A Way. I origionally was going to buy a CST but they do not make many of the them and there is a 12 week back order. CST mainly make lifts for 250 and 2500. So I went witha black powder coated Rize. Also the CST requires specific BS less than 5 or plan on useing spacers. The rize since is uses a curved spindle you can get a way with uses 5+ BS. The wheels that I wanted were 5.04 bs so that made the decision easy. I have King's on mine but after getting screwed by King I can not recomend them.
If you considering a spacer on top of a lift kit dont get the procomp lift cause they already use a spacer up front and its not good to stack spacers. Get the basic Fabtech and put the spacer on that.
CST dosen't come with shocks either. The rize does come with rear shocks and spacers for the front if you wanted to use your shock coil overs. I used kings on mine but they are the most expensive. You can use the FOX one SAWs and save $500 to $600. I got my kit with lines and Add Aleaf, powder coated black and Kings all the way around from Truck Toyz for $5600. If you didn't want it powder coated you could get it ffot $5000. If I had to do it over I probably would have went with the SAWS.
