a buddy of mine drives an older f-150 with 13" of lift on 44's and it is tough but can be done. just make sure you are flexible. one hand on the seat, one on the door and one foot on the sill and up ya go

Why don't you just use the steering wheel instead of seatbelt?

I meant in yours. You said you grab the seatbelt in yours, it'd seem easier to grab the steering wheel and alot more sturdy than the seatbelt.

You dont want to replace the steering column, we see it with heavy set people that use the wheel to pull themselves in. It puts a hurtin to it over time. Especialy if you have a tilt wheel.

Well damn, how hard are yall thinking I'm talking about grabbin/pulling it. I just meant use it as something to grab onto when you step up, not yank on the thing to hoist yourself up. And he said he was only 5'9 and he isn't heavy set, so I don't think it would put a whole heck of a lot of strain on it.
