Question Any ideas??Front-end shimmy

Hi all!,
2001 xl 4.2 2 wheel drive,,, at approx. 65 mph, i'm getting a slight
front end wobble which goes away at 70 mph? I'v replace the tires
with the same as orig. ( BF Goodrich - Long Trail TA's ), and have had the
tires rebalanced, and the wobble continues? Truck has 135,000 mi. and
has never been aligned, as it tracks straight, and the tire wear is even.
Got 115,000 out of the first set, is why I went with the same tires.
Any ideas on how to check the front end components, other than going to
the garage? Any and all help is deff. appreciated.

At that milage your ball joints, tie rod ends and idler arm could all be worn. Mine were replaced at 60,000.

I'd get it realigned too, thats along time without an alignment even if it tracks straight.
