Want to do lift - but leaving soon for Ohio

OK so I'm going to be leaving Texas soon to head back to Ohio....and here is the question - do I get a lift here in Texas - where I see it done on a regular basis - and risk having a warranty issue and be 1500 miles away - or wait and do it in Ohio - and if i wait any suggestions on where to have it done in the buckeye state?

First I would look at the shop selection in Ohio near your new house...Also would you really want too put 1500 miles of wear on a new set of tires? Thats a question that I think you may want too consider...if your tires currently are going and can do with another 1500 miles, then i'd wait.

Or you can put the lift here in texas, keep the old tires to make the road trip, may look goofy but at least your not running down your new tires. Then when you get to Ohio, put the new tires on or get a shop to put them on!!!

Go Buckeyes!! Here in Flower Mound, and huge OSU Fan!! Both my parents went there

I'd say wait. Easier driving, less wear on your new components/tires. What part of Ohio are you going to?

Just a thought....if it were me I would wait and do it myself, But if you are in a rush or cant do it yourself and seeing how you are in Texas, why not give the guy's at Truck toyz a call and let them put it in for you, If it's close enough that is, ( I have no idea how big Texas is either) I bought my lift from those guy's and they seemed great to deal with.
