My only question or concern with the Rancho lift is about the front c/o's. So RCD says 4.5" to 6", so I'm guessing the last 1 1/2" comes from adjusting the c/o on the front. What does this do for your c/v and ball joint angles??

Like compared to a Pro Comp or Fabtech where you get a true 6" lift from the lift components themselves which will account for those angles??

Then a concern with the Rancho kit is what c/o can you run on the front of that?? I'm sure that kit comes with a spacer to reuse the stock c/o right?? Could you add like the Bilstein c/o on top of what ever spacer comes with that kit?

The Rancho kit does not use a spacer, it uses a longer front shock mounted inside the stock coilover and longer spindles...it is a true 4" lift. The C/V angles are the same as stock:

Nice!! Unlike the 3" Rancho on my '02 where the last bit comes from the torsion bars!

So then that begs the question...what are your shock options for the Rancho lift? Could you still use that Bilstein 5100 made for this truck.

I been thinking about 4" lift. The only thing I'm worried about towing my camper. I have adjustable drop and one hole left. I might stop at a local off road shop with my camper next year. Where I get my camper inspected theirs a off road shop near by. Whats your opinion on this

Here are some shocks options from Rancho:

You can use other brands of shocks as well as long as they are for a 4" lift.

Copenhagen, since you have the rancho, which shocks would you recommend? Correct me if im wrong, but the rancho kit does NOT come with replacement coilovers.

Nice looking truck you have there

I have always wanted to do a 3-4" lift for my truck but have no idea how much higher the truck would be.. Yes it is a stupid question since i am sure its like 4"s heigher.

Any chance you could measure from the ground to the middle bottom of your front wheel well?

it will actually be closer to 6" higher since you will be adding 35" tires. the tires are 4" taller, 2" of which are under your axle, lifting the frame 2". then you add anothe 4" from the suspension lift--totaling 6" higher.

Well, I guess it depends on what kind of driving you do. I opted for the RS9000X adjustable shocks. I don't go off road that much so I can adjust them for a softer ride around town, etc. When I go hunting, I adjust them to a stiffer setting for going through the woods, etc. And it does not come with replacement coilovers, you install a longer shock in the OEM ones.

No, you can use the Autospring on top of the Rancho kit which will give you 6" in front. Some members on here have done it.

Thanks

43.5" from the ground to the middle bottom of the front wheel well (fender flare).
