If you're trying to increase your towing capacity the AAL will be a better choice then the block. The AAL will also stiffen the ride a little in the rear.
The blocks main purpose is to gain height. Let me know if you want to go with the AAL, as i have a brand new 2" AAL ready to ship. I bought it I just never used it. Ill sell for what i bought it for $110 + shipping.

Not by much.. I actually wouldn't say it is harder just takes longer. About 15 minutes a side. Just have to take out the 2 center bolts before taking off the u-bolts.

I would go with a add-a-leaf, which I have done twice now. The ride is just barely stiffer, but the road actually feels smoother, IMO. Plus, you keep your factory bumpstop, or your not stacking blocks, and your increasing your payload.
I just ordered and installed the skyjacker 1.5" that I got from summitracing.com I got 2" of lift from it, and it came with treflon pads on it to prevent rubbing / noise. I had a friend strip them and powdercoat them for me as well to keep them from rusting.

Thanks...I appreciate the info.

Since I use my F350 to Haul/Tow I don't need the extra payload capacity in the F150 so I just ordered an Auto Spring 3" block kit which will replace the factory 1.5" one lifting rear 1.5" (According to AS website)

nooq...I may still email you about getting the 2"AAL also. Never know, may put it on too!! (= 3.5" lift in rear)
