2wd drop

2wd drop

i have a 2001 supercrew 2wd i am either wanting to put a leveling kit on it or drop it either way i am gonna go with 22's what would be a good drop kit for it and which will look better on my truck

2" shackle kit would be perfect for leveling it out.

I agree. If you are gonna run 22's, lower the rear. Unless of course you wanna lift the truck and run some 40x15.50-22's.

I've the front of my truck lowered 4", and it will rub every now and then (it has to be a big bump!), it's got 22" rims and a 40 series sidewall.

And unless you C-notch the frame in the rear, you won't be able to drop it enough for it to ever rub.


If your interested I'm going to be selling a set of Belltech rear lowering leaf springs for a 97-02 (or 03 maybe?). They will lower it right around 4", and give a little sportier ride. match those with a set of 2" drop coils for the front, and it looks nice.
