hey everyone i have a 2wd 96 f150 and i hate that its not 4x4 and the parents wont let me go muddin with it cuz lets face it its a tank lol...my buddy told me i could just make it 4x4 i think it can be done i dont see what would stop it from working any one have any suggestions other than just buying a 4x4

 

Sure, it can be done. You'll need to buy a 4X4 donor truck. Or you could do it through NAPA, and spend more than just buying a new truck with 4wheel drive. Either way it's gonna cost ya'. So just get a 4X4.

 

your buddy is right its very possible. but as was just said, its insanely expensive and time consuming. your could probably buy a 4x4, level it out and and put some all terrains on the truck for the price of all the labor and parts you would need to put into the project.
