Now that is one SWEET looking ride! I really like it! Wondering... how do you like the look of the body lift. From the pics they really don't look bad at all, but you get to see it everyday, so honest opinion? Would you do it again? Also... Did the body lift prevent any rubbing ( such as: on the front valance) Thanks for the input

In my eyes you cant even tell a body lift on my truck unless you look at the gap guards. People are constantly asking me, "is that all suspension?" There are vital equipment you need to hide body lifts, and that is running boards/nerf bars, and gap guards (even spraying the rear fenderwells with some black undercoating would help in making the gap guards un-detectable, this is what iam going to be doing.) Also making a custom bracketry for the trailor hitch in the rear helps (so it doesnt hang below the bumper, still is a hidden hitch, this is what i did as well). Check it out...

Don't forget that these are 4 x 4's. I believe it would really be difficult to get 35's with a 3 inch body lift and 2.5 inch level kit.

Thanks Nooq, that pic gave me a better view. Before this website I was 100% AGAINST body lifts. Thought they looked stupid and god awful. the more I see tho, the more I change my mind. I already have the nerf bars, and when I see anyone with the body lift and nerf bars, you can barely tell, unless they say it first. I am leaning more and more towards the leveling kit and body lift (for now). Nooq, how hard is it to fab up the brakets for your hitch? and what about exhaust? Wont that hang down WAY low also? How did you get yours to look normal??

Yea the body lifts look great on our year trucks as long as you have those ceartain accessories to hide it. On chevy's, gmc's and even dodge's i think they look like ***** with them, even with the nerf bars.

as far as the hitch goes, i had a shop weld it up for me, it was a muffler/tow hitch shop, just a regular place that installs tow hitches. All that was done when i did the BL, i didnt cut the tow hitch from the bumper, instead, unbolted it from the brackets going to the frame and raised it with the rest of the bumper with the brackets that came with the body lift. Then had them weld and bolt 2 extension brackets coming from the oem bracket to the tow hitch that went up 3"s with the BL. Hope that makes sense. Heres a pic, you can kinda see the brackets they were painted black so you can kinda spot em'...
