Body Lift!

i am in the process of installing a 3 inch PA body lift. and need advice from someone who has put one on their truck not from some one who thinks they know what they are talking about but really have no idea.

how did you hold the rubber bushing for the cab bolts while you un bolt it from the top? i have tried monkey wrenchs and pliers with very little success.

thanks,
George

I just used a set of arc joint pliers. I know what you mean, I did not have any help and i needed longer arms to reach under the truck to hold it while turning from inside the truck

I used a large pair of channel locks. You can also use a pipe wrench.

Sounds like this is a 2 person job then. Good to know as I am planning a BL in the near future.

Yeah, you at least need someone to help remove and reinstall the cab mounting bolts.
