Ran over a curb

I ran over a 5" curb with my truck, on the driver's side, going about 3-6 mph. I did it while turning... in a parking lot.

Did I mess anything up?

Nothing pulls, no clunks of any kind, when I drive. Should I go in for a front end alignment? It just happened like 30 minutes ago. :o

Oh, ok. That makes me feel better.

I don't think anything happened... but I want my truck to last.

FYI: This particular parking lot has a circle for the front of the building, and then there is this cutoff point where it goes into the parking lot, and it isn't that wide for a truck... normally I cut it wide, but I didn't do my turn correctly, and I ran it right over. I can tell I ran it over by the grass, and the fact my tires (thank goodness) didn't get scrapped up.

Chill dude, I probably jump at least one curb a week, in my stock tires/suspension FX4. At worst, I've given my tires a white beauty mark, which easily buffs out.

Oh it did... but in a different way... sort of... When I woke up this morning, I found a Holy Grail sitting beside my bed, with a note saying, "My little one, I failed to give you the brains to succeed in life. Next time, you will be as smart as a fly."

When I was driving over the curb, that's what exactly was on my mind.

I routinely run over curbs. See my thread about the cracked frame. Yeah that was me. I used to run over curbs in my 89 Civic hatchback too. One day I went to the bowling alley only to find out that they were closed. I became irritated and ran over a parking block. Well my car didn't quite have the ground clearance and I ended up dragging the whole block under my car around the parking lot. In the end I had to cut the exhaust off because it was crushed. W/e, the car was free...

But yeah, your truck will be fine.

[Edit] Also, there's a thread I started in the tire forum about how I blew up my brand new tire running over a curb.
