Lifting Question
Lifting Question
Hey i have a 2004 f-150 2wd. I have already purchased my 2.5 AS front lift and i plan on purchaseing a 3in block from AS also. After that im looking into a PA 3in bodylift. How much overall lift front and back will that give me? Also does a bodylift increase your center of gravity making my truck more prone to a rollover? I didn't think it would cause it only raises the cab and i have a small reg. cab but i really dont know. Also i'm going to install my AS spacer next weekend and i was wondering if i needed a torque wrench to torque the bolts to exact specs or if i coulf just tighten them really tight.
Thanks,
Trent.

Yes, anytime you lift a truck, you increase the center of gravity. You are right in thinking a body lift is not as bad because only the cab and bed are raised instead of the entire truck. You can help offset this by installing wider wheels and tires.
If you install a 2.5 inch leveling kit and a 3 inch body lift you should have 5.5 inches of lift up front. and 3 inches of lift out back.

To the front would be 2.5" (AS) + 3" (BL) and the back would be 3" (Block) + 3" (BL). So that would be 5.5" up front and 6" out back. So basically it would look the same as it does now but just about 6" higher?
