Lift Question.

Hey guys,

I am looking to lift my truck and make it look as good as possible. Anyways, I was wondering if I should go with a 2 inch leveling kit and put some mud tires on the 20" rims it has now or go with a 6 inch procomp lift and put some tires on the rims I have now? What do you guys think I should do? Is the 1000 dollar lift really worth me having to get a job and work my *** off, not enjoying my truck at all... Or should I enjoy my truck everyday with no job and get a 90 dollar autospring?? IDK if its really worth it haha.

Mike

Plus it would look dumb. If you can install the lift yourself i would get a 3inch body lift with some bilsteins and put 35s on it. If not get the 6 inch fabtech or 8 inch rize with some 35s or 37s. It would be worth it. I promise.

get a leveling kit and put some nice 32s or 33s on those rims you got now. stay away from the body lift.

If I could get a job, work it for a couple weeks or a month, make close to a 1,000 dollars, to get a 6" Pro comp, I would.

For sure.

wow I really like your truck with the 2" autospring and the meaty tires on 20 inch rims, maybe thats what I should go with. What size tires will fit on my 20 inch helo skid rims?

There is nothing wrong with body lifts.

he lives on a dirt road, i assume his truck sees some offroad and i bet he will want to keep the good ride quality. he should get a spacer or a suspension lift for that.

also the 04+ trucks have a 2.5" difference in hieght from the front and back, a body lift by itself makes it look pretty goofy.

When i see a truck like that, i just dont see offroad. Body lifts do not affect ride quality.

Get a leveling kit with a body lift if your not a offroader.

20x8.5 Rims, with 6.13 inch backspacing

33x12.50x20 Toyo Mud Terrains

Below a 2" Autospring.

when you have 16" of suspension lift under your body lift, then you're right, theres nothing wrong with a body lift offroad. but if you had a stock height truck and were deciding between a body lift and a suspension lift, keeping in mind that you want to offroad, which would you choose?? its common sense.
