help replacing shocks

I replaced my front shocks last week with no problems exept for the fact that the new ones didnt have that nut to keep them from turning which made tightening the top nut a pain in the butt.

I decided to do the backs this week(I get 1 day off). The problem is the top nut on the rears give me no room to loosen them. Do you guys have any tips? Thanks in advance.
