Fabtech 6" Lift with Coilover Question

Hey guys i was told in another thread that if i wanted to get a little more lift on my 2WD that i could upgrade into the fabtech crossmember system with coilovers and crank them a little. I was wondering..is this similar to the effect that a T-bar cranking and would harshen the ride? I was told almost 8" if i cranked them all the way...thought this was great advice...would someone or multiple people tell me the advantages to the coilovers versus just regular shocks...Thanks!

i am guessing you have an 04-07 because the older ones don't have coils and i am doing that set up and it makes the ride harsher. I would do it because it will look good

If you have a pre 97-03 the Fabtech 7.5" would be your best bet.

Yeah, I'd go with the Fabtech coilovers and crank them up. The effect on ride quality will be similar to cranking up the torsion bars on a 97-03 4x4. It will make the initial portion of the suspension's travel slightly stiffer.
