Correcting angle on Upper Ball Joint

How the hell can this be done? I am looking to crank my coilovers, but i know that my upper balljoint is going to be in a pretty severe angle. what mod/upgrade can i do to keep the balljoint from being so tweeked after i cranked the coilovers?

A longer spindle and drop the diff some more is your only option but no one makes a small diff drop and there is no way to extend your spindles/knuckles... so you stuck with the bad angles. Some uniball uppers will give you some security with the steeper angles but dont help with the angle and no one has reported poping out a ball joint yet theres the info take it or leave it.

at aftermarket control arm with uni-ball, would it work on a 6" pro comp lift with fabtech dirtlogic coilovers cranked?

yes it will work great there is some body on here with that setup he has the total chaos UCA's. i think if you that worried that would be the best choice and i think just about your only choice.

Nothing is going to "change" the angle short of running something totally custom. I'd just get the Camburg UCAs and call it a day, they're a lot stronger than the stock UCAs. Just expect them to squeak a little.

I actually just got off the phone with Pat with total chaos fabrication. I just purchased there upper control arm with uni-ball setup for 650$ shipped. Bud, you installed the CST UCA on your lift correct? How is the install of the UCA and ball joint into the spindle? Is at as easy as taking apart a few bolts and nuts and putting it back together with the new arm or is there more to it then that? TC says that these arms and balljoints are totally direct bolt on. No cutting/drilling required.

I ordered them today and should get them by tommorow. What do you use to grease them with? I will post pics when i get them. Thanks for the help guys, now iam really going to crank those DL's up.

ya fairly easy to do. your going to basicly do exactly what you would if you were to install a leveling kit. you want to disconect the sway bar. disconect the UCA from the spindle and then simply unbolt the UCA and put the new one in. you can handel it

oh and congrats those UCA are badass!!!! and post some pics when you get it done!

I'm curious to see how they'll affect your angles.

they shouldnt affect my angles at all, but make the angle iam going to put them in stronger than with the stock UCA's and balljoints. The TC UCA's do not lift the truck, so no angles should be affected. But when i crank on that coilover, then im sure i will see some angles.

they are peft lined or some teflon like thing you cant lube them, well you can lube the mounting bushing to keep them from squeaking but you cant do anything about the uniball noise. Lubes in there will just collect more dirt and wear them out faster.

Exactly. The more you lube, the more noise you get.
