Why coil overs?

Hey guys... well im going to order the fabtech 6inch kit. Its just a matter of deciding if i should get coilovers or not? What is the real advantage with them? If i dont do much off roading are they worth the extra $$. I know they can be cranked to fit bigger tires but im going to stay with 35s.

They're going to ride a lot better than those white body crap shocks. They're fully rebuildable. They're adjustable. They look sweet.

I am getting the fabtech 6" lift too. I was looking at their website and didnt see anything about coil overs for my truck. Do they not make them for my truck. I have a 2000 4x4. Also i dont really know anything about coilovers. Could u explain the difference between coil over and no coil over to me. Thanks.

If your not going to use this truck off road then dont spend the extra money on Dirt Logics. It would be a waste of money.

two words bling bling. what looks better when you turn your wheel some crappy white shock or some bilstein shock with a spacer and still a small body shock, or a big fat badass looking shock?

Your truck use torsion bars instead of springs. 1997-2003 trucks use torsion bars. The newer 2004-present use springs.

Agreed. If the look of the shock inside your wheel well is important to you then spend the extra money. I have the basic kit, don't regret it one bit and the ride is not bad at all.

A coil over will ride harder you will loose the factory ride but is better quality than a spacer .
