Clear 35s????

I got a 2004 F150 2wd and getting ready to put some new tires and wheels on it. What is the cheapest lift to clear the 35s? Will a 3 inch body lift clear them? Thanks.

No, you're going to need a 6" lift.

possibly clear them with a 3" body and a leveling kit with the right wheel.

I have a buddy who has an AS 2.5" leveling kit and a 3" body lift and he is clearing 35's....I am doing the same thing to mine right now...and I am just waiting for my tires and wheels to come in to finish it all off. The BS on the wheels we are using is 4.530"

With the right wheels you could clear 35's with a 3 inch body lift and a leveling kit with the right wheel.

No actually it is a 2004 FX4 4WD. The wheels on his truck are **** Cepek DC-1's 17x9 with 4.530" of BS...I have a set of Moto Metal 955's coming for mine with the exact same specs. The tires are 35 x 12.50 x17 **** Cepek Mud Country. He gets a touch of rub when turning hard and allot of compression on the front suspension....but nothing has been trimmed...that I know of.

Exactly, the OP was talking about a 2WD. . 4WDs sit 2" higher.

Get some bolt in coilovers and crank them up to 3in of lift and put some 35's on your stock rims. It will fit with some minor triming. YES THIS ON A 2WD! I know a few people who have this setup and Im doing the same.
