u have a jack

they have air
u might not

it might be entirely possible to do it in 3/4 hours u just gotta know WTF ur doing and have more then basic tools to do it

but yea the norm is around 8-9 hours

a lift isn't neeeded for a body lift, a floor jack is, with a block of wood, to lift the cab and the bed.

I don't think I used air tools on the whole job, I can't remember. maybe just to remove the bumpers. I know for the cab bolts you have to go under the carpet and there isn't any room for anything but a regular rachet.

if someone does body lifts day-in and day-out, yeah they should be able to do it faster, but it's a time consuming project no matter what.

It's on the high side, $500 is the "norm" here for a 3" body plus GAP Guards on a previous body style F150.

when I got quoted 750 on my '05 I said F that I don't know what the hell to do but I can do it...In the end I'm glad I saved $750, the install took me about 10 or 12 hours, but I was perty much clueless on everything I did, if I did it again I'm sure I could knock off a few hours.

Didnt disagree on the price. We said you cant do it in 3-4 hours.
