Installing Coilover Question

Couple quick questions wondering if someone can give me some pointers. I am going to be replacing my coilovers, i was wondering, if i have the truck jacked up, with the wheel and tire off, is the strut assembly going to be under load? or will it just come out? i have the 6" pro comp spacer on there as well, so i will be taking out both strut assembly and spacer.

Also, question on adjusting coilovers...fabtech dirtlogics. How is this done? You need the wheel off the ground? and should and alignment be done after adjusting them for more height? is it done with a spanner wrench or something? any info on these 2 will really help. Thanks in advance.

The spring will be under load but that is within the strut assembly. You will be able to remove the entire assembly with no problems. You could reference the AS Level kit install for instructions on removing it.

so to crank them up you would want to turn everything clockwise making the coil tighter together, then to lower them turn everything counterclockwise, to make the coil longer??
