Lift question

My buddy just got a 2wd 06 F-150 and wants to know what he could do to fit 35's I'm not sure if a body lift would do it but since its a 2wd would it have to be a body lift and AS

Thanks guys

A body lift and an AS leveling kit should be enough with the right wheels. If he has to pay to have those installed, he would be just as well off to get a 6 inch Pro Comp lift.

Thanks Wandell about how much backspacing you think he would need for it to fit right.

You can do it with 35's and just the AS but it is close. This is only on stock wheels though.

are the stock wheels on a 4X4 the same size as the tires on a 2 wheel drive?

Yes, 4x4 and 4x2 wheels are the same.
Hash278, I'd suggest a 9 inch wide wheel with 5.5 or 6 inches of backspacing.

Yeah, he may have been.
Most 4x4's come with larger tires, but I think both are available with 255/65-17's.
