great pic man thanks thats exactly what i wanted to see. its nice to know i can go out and buy a 3in lift for 165 some gap guards for 80 throw it on myself and not have to worry about tires till mine are bald.
appreciate the help guys

just curious does backspacing have anything to do with rubbing issues or is it mostly to how tall the tire is...i dont know how wide my wheels are or the backspacing amount (to be honest i really dont know what backspacing is)...kieth? wandell?
your help would be appreciated

It all depends on width and heighth of tire and backspcing of rim. What rubbing are you talking about and maybe i can help more.

Backspacing is the distance from where the wheel mounts (where it bolts to the hub) to it's rear edge. Most aftermarket wheels for our trucks have 4.5 inches, which is what the oem wheels have.

I would if i didnt trim the lower part of my valance, but it is very very very little trimming of plastic. Now i have none.

the trimming? Heck i drew my line with a sharpie and used a hack saw. Then took some sand paper to even it out.
