Low vs. Tow

I'm lookin' @ either 2"/4" or 3"/5". Am I gonna sacrifice ALL towing just to look "pretty". If I need to compromise I'd think that the 2"/4" would suffice. Any thoughts? Like others have mentioned, I need to still take speed bumps & the occassional curb for when a jackhole blocks me in ! Or should I just be happy w/ doing a 2" drop in the back to have a sporty stance. Thanks guys, I'm just not wantin to bail off into somethin to not like it. Who can afford that?

I would think you would be fine as long as you don't go with a really short tire.

If ya get a kit w/ shock extenders then the whole stock "soft" suspension still requires the same amount of compression, right? So I still have to compress 2"-3" before I get some rigidity from my suspension. The problem is my starting point is X" lower than stock w/ stock "squishiness". Is there a kit that will be more rigid or stiffer like a "sport-tuned" on a car? Thanks

Thanks Patman. Can ya get 1 kit to do the drop? I see a lot of threads where guys say that they have a kit then they add shackles or shocks. How do ya know which shocks, etc.? Cause I guarantee you these boys w/ manicured hands @ the local parts store can't tell me what's compatible! I just want to make sure that everything meshes. I had just 2" drop shackles on a "4 STX & they tore the seams to my bed up.
